I saw you guys got Unlimited Blade Works though.
...despite the fact that we never got Fate/Stay Night. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it? ¬_¬
And I think only a single TV anime has been released on BD here (correct me if I'm wrong). Everything else is still DVD.
I love BD, and always prefer to buy BD, but I'm starting to dislike FUNimation BD's. While I find the quality to be better than the DVD, in general it's not that much better. Every BD I've seen from FUNimation is an upscale from a low quality source (probably the DVD source). I almost feel like they are ruining the anime BD industry because if someone's first anime BD is that of FUNimation they probably would think all anime BD are like that. :(
I saw you guys got Unlimited Blade Works though. We never got that!
btw, how come the forum is locked?
Oh right that's just me being stupid, the new thread button is in a different place now.
Strife212 the UK anime industry really is the worst.lulz, ever heard of the German anime industry?
I am getting into buying Blu-Rays now. I refuse to buy DVDs!
Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya was cancelled on Blu-Ray in the UK... the UK anime industry really is the worst.
Thanks to the Summer Wars BD, dvds are starting to burn my eyes D:
jiejieHey Blu-ray collectors... do you know any good places for getting out-of-print anime BDs? I never even considered importing blu-rays until just recently when a few of my favorite series started getting released with interesting extras ~_~
You can try cdJapan too. ^_-
@jiejie Mandarake, I guess.

Very nice idea for a club!
*gives you brownie points*
My first BDs were the Evangelion movies 1.11 and the more recent 2.22 back when they were on sale via Amazon. Amazon also plays as a good resource for those curious as to which series/movies/etc. have been converted to Blu-ray or will be converted.
