Are there any differences between the two releases aside from Araki's logo on the front of the box?

Coconutbee (Il y a 9 mois) #14726064Im almost tempted to strip the paint on the upper half of his body and repaint him myself, as well as fixing the seemlines on his arms. I'm just hoping DiMolto gives up and hands over the rights to GSC/Alter/ any competent company like that will ever happen, they sell well and they dont even have to make more sculpts. its like printing money

solluxcaptor (Il y a 9 mois) #14718684Yep, sadly this is true. I stopped buying Di Molto Bene because I always feel disappointed in their paint jobs, even if the sculpting is really well detailed.
This one in particular I have is horrendous for seam lines, way more tan than the picture (why would a vampire be tan?) and the hair 'shading' just looks like dirt. Not to mention that most of the time they don't fit on the base properly and this one is no exception.

GetterDragon (Il y a 10 mois) #14016585Even the recent releases are that bad? Yep, even the more recent releases by them. Just look in the comments about the bad paint job ie (mfc link)

I've owned 4 figs by this company and I sold off most of them for 1/4th of the price since I didn't end up liking the quality
