Well...

I plan to buy a dollfie soon.. ( my first one yeeey! )

probably MDD Louise..

I just saw her for 80k including her bustier set :)
(page16.auctions...)
I found a proxy who only aska 1000 yen as fee over 10k :)
plus ofc transfer fee and shipping of 780 yen

is this a good price? and what should I max bid?

I know DD are more expensive and about the same range so wonder if an MDD is worth this price tag..

also a different thing:

what should I do to avoid stains? since the bustier set is a black outfit..

where can I buy wig oil and clothing? or only on the volks site..?

and how do I get her hair in a ponytail if needed (for the bustier set)

and any other info is welcome cause im new to the dollfie world!

and no tips or such? D:

I've totally forgotten to tell, white skin is more subject to stains than normal one.
I'm on cloud 9, btw, I managed to get a dollfie body!

I'm not entirely sure about the price, but on the other hand I don't really see Louise's doll showing up much anywhere. And just keep in mind that the auction still has 6 days on it so it might go up A LOT from it's starting point. It usually jumps up in price the last few hours of the auction, so watch it closely.

As for staining, a body stocking is good. I read on the dollfiedreams forum the other day that her bustier set stains almost the instant that you put it on her so that will definitely need a body stocking.

There are lots of places that have doll clothing except volks. There's coolcat, alicescollections, nine9style, etsy, ebay. Lots of places, so you won't have any trouble finding clothes that you like.

I would suggest you browse dollfiedreams.com and just look around and ask questions if you'd like, everyone's nice there.

Good luck on getting Louise :)

KeripoIl y a 7 ans#1723273I'm not sure about the price, but I would advise first checking all the static stores (Mandarake, Jungle, etc.) and user sales (Dollfie Dreams forums, Figure.fm, etc.) before going the Yahoo Auctions Japan route. Usually YJA will give you a good benchmark/reference price to go on, but keep in mind you'll have to pay heavy proxy fees as well as shipping fees (domestic shipping, then international shipping).
If you're on a budget and the 80k price is a factor, I would advise going the custom route and building your own Louise from scratch (I did that for my custom Arcueid DD). Especially with DDIII bodies becoming standard soon, it will probably end up costing you under 60k to make a custom MDD. If you want the official Volks outfit though, there's not much choice (unless you find someone selling just the outfit).
For body stockings, since Louise's default outfit isn't very revealing, I'd say a bodystocking will look plenty fine (I actually like body stockings on the legs since they hide the joints better, but then again, I also like pantyhoses in general >_>). For the bustier set though, I don't think it'll look so nice, but then again, I've never seen Louise as a "busty" character xD
I would, like others before me, recommend you check out the Dollfie Dreams forums and look at the thread of Louise. There's also a "clothes that stain" thread somewhere, so check that as well. Regardless, it's a better place to post/ask questions than here since there's more active doll owners there ; )

The fees plus shipping arent high
780 yen domestic and 1000 yen fee as mentioned in the article
Thanks for the advice i didnt buy her in the end

Well jungle is expensive due to paying 5% extra and manda sells MDD only without bustier set for 70k USED so both options end up more expensive... And i dont like used

I could try custom ane i saw someone selling her outfit :D thanks

I know about figure.fm i checked there as well but no louise for sale only ppl looking for her or taking pics of her..

Some are selling other DD but they livei n the us which is expensive ^^"

that lousie is expensive for a MDD since it's limited edition. for the same price i could get a basic SD and customize it myself.

You can buy bodystocking that protects the dolls from stains. It's a layer of cloth underneath the clothing they wear. Some black clothes are also whitelined to prevent staining. Volks' and Coolcat's bodystockings are the most popular. You could also wash the clothing to remove any excess dye.

There's plenty of shops that sells clothes that fits DDs and MDDS. Most resin BJD companies clothes fits well. Same goes for wigs and everything else you could need.

The easiest way(if the bustier set doesn't include a wig) is to buy the wig similar to what you have in mind. If you know how to handle wigs you could also style one yourself.

I sadly can't answer about Lousie's price since I don't keep track of what she's worth.

There aren't that many active dollfie owners on MFC, if you want faster and more information I recommend that you check out www.dollfiedrea...

Chloe-tsundereIl y a 7 ans#1723070which custom do you plan to make then ?
Do you mean the kind of hybrid I'm planning? There's a monstrosity called Ningbo Miracle or something like that, I'll see if the head fits it.

YorunoIl y a 7 ans#1723061I'm assembling a dollfie as well. Bought a finished head from an artist, now I'm choosing whether to put it on another ball-jointed body or get a proper DDSister one. For head and skin care, check out www.volks.co.jp.... Volks clothes can be found at Mandarake, and there's a great variety of custom-made dresses at eBay. Not so classy but cheaper at least.

which custom do you plan to make then ?
