Alter's Azusa Nakano broken pegsAlter's Azusa Nakano broken pegs

Hello,
a few days back a little artificial earthquake moved my house.
(My neighbors are doing works in their home, so they are moving walls and so on... -.-)
Nothing serious, but strong enough to have my detolf cabinets rattling a little.
Well, at a certain moment, I hear a little BANG, and I see my Alter's Azusa Nakano lying down on the shelf.
At an accurate inspection, I noticed that almost all her base pegs are broken. I attach a couple of reference pics.

What do you suggest me to do?
The figure is official, of course. I purchased her long ago, though.
* Should I glue them? With what glue?
* Should I write Alter saying what happened, hoping to get replacement part? Where is their contact form?
* Should I buy a bootleg Azusa and replace the bases (or just the broken part if I can remove the broken pegs from the holes)?
* Do you have any other idea? Any suggestion is welcome.

Thanks for reading!

I had the same thing happen to my Azusa after moving her a little. Since I don't plan on selling her, I used some of my mother's craft glue to essentially cement her to the base. She'll never fall again. So like others have suggested, go ahead and glue her if Alter can't do anything for you.

Zap Super Glue is a good brand and I suggest you glue them.

Otherwise replace the pegs with metal rods. You could use paper clips or just go to your local hobby store and buy metal rods. Cut them with metal wire cutters. You'll need a drill bit probably 2mm-4mm size and drill the areas where the pegs broke off. Then replace the place with the metal rods and there, replaced the pegs with sturdier metal rods.

Contact Alter, I mean the worst you can get as a reply is "No."
Don't buy a bootleg >.>..
Ask if anyone's willing to sell their base (highly unlikely, but like I said the worst you could get is a "No.")
If you run out of options, just glue the base. The value will drop (well it already did since the peg's broke), and you won't be able to remove the peg from the base, but at least the figure's stable :3

My Alter Azusa only has TWO pegs left (one in the base, and one in the pedestal thing). She still miraculously stands without falling, although I rather not wobble her too much.
I can't really recommend brands of glue since I only know brands that are here in Argentina.
I don't think Alter can do much, it's not a new release anyway.
The bootleg sounds like a terrible idea; the base probably won't even match!

If she CAN'T stand on her own and you plan on keeping her displayed, glue her. Most comments below me probably mention some glue brands, so just sit carefully and glue her to the base UvU <3

I would contact Alter first and hope for the best :) Then I would go to your neighbours and tell them that their work has damaged your property =/ My next door neighbours have been doing work to their house constantly for six years so I have little patience for this xD

otaku_club (Il y a 4 ans) #1817241Thing is that by glueing it, I won't be able to disassemble and pack her again in case i decide to sell the set :(You could disassemble it if you do it like I wrote "one small drop (smaller than the area to be glued) on each peg" I forgot to mention broken pegs only, if you are not sure you can do it, don't try it, if it goes wrong you may accidentally glue everything together including your fingers.
