Where should I PO Wo-Class??

COLORCOLORIl y a 3 ansAsk MFC
Hi Guys!

So, the title is a little bit misleading.
My real problem is the following:

I PO'd ITEM #97006 and ITEM #212685, and I'm very glad I did because they are sold out everywhere now :)

However, I went back to my order history, and realised how much was NY estimating Reg. SAL shipping cost: 2290Y for each figure (I did order them separately and unfortunately they do not combine orders... :/)

Now, I understand it is an estimate, but when you look at the table of SAL shipping rates from Japan to USA with Japan Post, the highest you should be charged for the max limit of 2kg is 2080Y.

Now, I don't know how much beelzebub is gonna weight because obviously she is the first version to be released, however, when I look at the comments about Lucifer first version release, it appears that people have been on average charged for SAL shipping 1580Y, which means the package weighted 1.5kg...

My orders are placed and I will keep them no matter what, but I'm really wondering whether I should place my next orders with them, as I feel like I've kind of been ripped of.

Is it legit they charge me so much for Reg SAL??

What site would you recommend for Wo-Class (ITEM #198412) PO? Should I still go with NY? Do you think Crunchyroll is gonna sell her?

Plus, how does NY work when it comes to final invoice? Once you've paid in full your PO, do they adjust shipping fees before actual shipment?

A little help would help a lot :)

Thanks! :D

VioMariner (Il y a 3 ans) #2243379While Crunchyroll may have a good deal of the day remember you'll be getting her about 3 months after her release. American dealers always have a few month delay in
getting a figure VS. buying from Japanese dealers who'll get the initial batches quickly.

CR shows an estimated delivery for March ? 1 month late could be worth it

The rates for SAL and Airmail on Japan Post's website is w/o tracking btw.
So 2kg is 2080+410 and 1.5kg would be 1580+410

Hmmm... I see, I kind of want to try Amiami, but maybe Crunchyroll will be worth it... I have the premium membership and if she get on deal of the day, I hope she'd drop to 120- (hopefully)

I guess I'll wait and see after crunchyroll.

Thank you!

I think ¥2290 is a pretty decent estimate based off of Lucifer's original release(s). Don't forget that your shipping is SAL REG, not SAL UNREG (¥410 difference). So the highest rate for shipping up to 2kg is technically ¥2490. I believe I did see someone comment about getting a ¥2290 shipping too, though don't forget to also take in account your own location.

I never use NY except for exclusive figures, and that's only been once so far. For normal pre-orders I tend to use AmiAmi.

Depending on the actual size/packaging, NY may or may not charge extra for shipping even after you've paid in full. So if there's a need to switch from SAL to EMS due to size limitations, for example, then you just have to pay the extra difference for shipping. But I don't know how often that happens since I don't really use NY.

Crunchyroll already has her up for pre-order. I would get her there when she is deal of the day.

I usually order from big in Japan or amiami cos they're cheaper. I've never ordered from NY before so I'm not sure about the shipping.
Wo-class is ¥10790 on Bij with an estimated shipping of ¥1280 biginjap.com/en...
and on amiami, she's ¥10910 www.amiami.com/...
