VioFitz (Il y a 5 ans) #2304602That's a nice stuffs you got there! I personally liked the Love Hina although, the posing of her reminds me into a bad remembrance.. Lol, that detailed body on the last stuff, very nice one for collections additions actually.

I'm afraid the Love Hina figure will have very high international shipping costs, but if you're interested in her, let me know!

Yeah that last one, I'm still doubting if I will keep her or not!! Her details are so nice, but I'm not familiar with the series...

Aldena (Il y a 5 ans) #2290334I absolutely agree! and bidding is usually reasonable, except on marktplaats aka greedy-plaats :/
Oh dear, I usually take them in a seperate bag/suitcase so that they're secured tight. Which is also handy to take new loots back home with. I do bring like 3+a kigu but most of the time that fits in 1 big suitcase. Expect the cases of large props, those are always a pain to drag along...
Offfcoooouuurrseeee that's your favorite, you Mecha Musume fangirl haha :P
Vengeful Spirit: Vestmenst of the Fallen Princes Set from Dota 2, here's an image to make it easier for you: dota2.gamepedia... I'll send you a PM for the phone nmbers because that sounds like a good idea C:
Hehe! You'll see, I made sure you didn't have it yet *u*

Martplaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaats! D: I hate that place, but I sell way more of my stuff there than anywhere else, so I keep on selling there. T^T Even for the smallest things people try to bid lower than you already are. D: If it's just a few euros off or free shipping on something expensive I will think about it, but I've had people sending me emails for 5 euro bids on scaled figures and action figures in as-good-as-new condition. -.-' And just a few mins ago someone asked if she can have 0,25 euro off from a figure lol. Well I'll agree with that, but I can't understand how someone can be so greedy to especially asks for 25 cents off. :P

I mostly have one big suitcase + 1 or 2 seperate bags for my wigs (most of my wigs are styled pretty intricately so they would damage when put in a suitcase). I can't really take more with me because I have to use public transport and just don't have enough hands. :P I know the pain of big props! When I went to Animecon with my transformed Elizabeth costume (only the mecha parts already take up 3 moving boxes @.@ and then I had my regular suitcase) I had to get a ride, because it would have been near impossible to take that with me on public transport. TT^TT But I'm working hard on getting my own drivers' license and car! That way I could tkae bigger costumes with me to conventions and also wear my transformed Elizabeth more instead of having the untransformed one with me so much and doing almost nothing with the prop and leg that took me so much time to make. :P

Shhh, nothing wrong with being fan of Mecha Musume. ;3

Character looks nice! :O Are you also painting your skin and/or using a bodysuit?

Oh~ But I have some Mecha Musume items that I own, but are not in the database/on my profile because I forget every time to put them in the database. xD So hopefully it's nothing of that! xD (Most stuff I own and that is not on here is older stuff, and I own one Kan Colle phone screen cleaner.)

alibalbal (Il y a 5 ans) #2290355That's pretty awesome, thanks for sharing. Are they still for sale on the site? What would I have to search to look for them? :o

No problem, glad you enjoyed! ^w^ They are not on the site anymore and when they are, they get sold out pretty quickly most of the times. You can look for them by using the term "grab box" in the search field. Most of the times someone on MFC will make a blog post about it too when they are up again!

Leo_Otaku (Il y a 5 ans) #2290746I suppose I'm just bitter about it since it has taken Touhou's spotlight for now. Since they are based on existing ships of a period won't they run out of ships?
I'm meaning as an over arching story beyond historic backgrounds. Perhaps I haven't looked into it enough? I feel personally, the designs are very samey as in sailor seifuku, Japanese traditional and military navy wear. The colour palette is very similar too.
As for popularity, I'm only assuming from what I've seen in previous franchises. Only speculation.
I didn't mean to take over the blog on this discussion sorry :(

Hrmmm...correct me if I'm wrong (I'm not in the Touhou fandom anymore), but to me it felt like Touhou was already slowing down on merchandise and amount of fans in the last +/- 2 years? And Kan Colle has only been active for about half a year. So to me it doesn't sound directly relevant because of the too big gap of time between the popularities.

Well, the anime has to start yet and the game doesn't tell much about the storylines. Personally I hope it will be a bit like Strike Witches, where they also give a lot of information about the specific vehicle they are modeled after. In Strike Witches it's also that the characters and the planes they represent are relevant to their country and personality. I'm hoping Kan Colle will do the same with warships, but we won't know until the anime starts. It could happen that it's one big fanservice-party and not much historical or accurate information will be shown.

Limited (Il y a 5 ans) #2290769It's always interesting to see what comes out of these boxes, even though I'd never buy one myself. (I'm sure everyone hears this already.) And that last figure of Hazuki was pretty random since I don't know that series. Pulling it pretty close with that cape there. xD
Pff, now you have a hint of what it's been like for shmup players, when the genre was overrun by Touhou fans long ago.

Yeah, I can understand how not everyone would be interested in a box of their own. ;) But seeing other people's surprises, especially if they are related to your hobby, should be fun! :) Oh, maybe I should have put that figure on NSFW? But there is actually just nothing visible, haha!

bd83 (Il y a 5 ans) #2289434I respectfully disagree. Maybe the people who became fans because of the anime will gravitate towards newer anime, which is normal, but the majority of the Kancolle fandom certainly will not die out after the anime. The anime isn't the root of its popularity - the browser game is. (The anime is just icing on the cake...)
The designs are also plenty creative, if you know the background/details/history of the ships the girls are based on.
I understand Kancolle isn't everyone's cup of tea and that's fine & to be expected. But to make a generalization like that is...surprising. :)

Maakie (Il y a 5 ans) #2290244Yeah, it's better to start high and then eventually lower if something doesn't sell. ---- and I always have way too much stuff with me because I always have 3 costumes with me to a con like that! xD So I think I will stick to taking manga and smaller figures with me this year!
Konata has quite some cosplay figures indeed! ^w^ With my personal favorite: ITEM #99405 :3
Ohh~ With which costume are you entering on friday? :) My lectures aren't planned yet, but there's a high chance both of them will be on the saturday! Should we otherwise (in PM) give each other our phone numbers so we can just text on the con to meet when we have time?
    A gift?!

Aldena (Il y a 5 ans) #2290004I should likely add he was a die-hard Youmu fanboy though. But hey if they reaaallyy dont sell you can always drop the price a little after some time. Though I'm pretty sure that she'll even sell at the bring and buy for like 45 on Abunai.
Konata has quite a few cosplay figures already I think? I mean, I got konata cosplaying as Saber in my grab box xD
I'd love to visit one of them but it really depends on the time and day. I'm enterign the Eurocos compo on Friday so I'll be quite busy around those times especially. The other days should be ok I think. I'll also have a little gift for you when we meet *u*

Yeah, it's better to start high and then eventually lower if something doesn't sell. What also happened multiple times to me is that I had something up and would get an PM or email with a lower bid that was still okay to me. ;) I'm a bit weary of putting big (boxed) figures at the Bring and Buy because in the past I managed to damage two figures at two different times while travelling to the convention. I use public transport so it happens a lot I need to stow my suitcase away...and I always have way too much stuff with me because I always have 3 costumes with me to a con like that! xD So I think I will stick to taking manga and smaller figures with me this year!
