Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you are all enjoying this very frightening time of year. I know one thing that made my Halloween better was getting the Hatsune Miku Halloween Version Nendoroid. With seasonal nendoroids being few and far between she was a nice pick me up for my collection.
Based off this reworked illustartion, they brought Halloween Miku to life in one of their cutest figure lines.
She was a real joy to work with for photoshoots and my video review, which can be seen at the end of this post. She doesn't come with too many accessories, but the ones she does come with really stand out!
Take this jack-o'-lantern face for example. It really takes this nendoroid to the next level and think they should take this approach with more of their nendoroids where it's warranted. Either that or we just need more characters in seasonal outfits more often.
Though we can't forget this prop jack-o'-lantern they have included with her, which makes for great headless horseman inspired photos. Not only that, but it doubles as a head for a nendoroid petit so Miku can match her miniture buddies.
There is one rather major flaw that I did find with this nendoroid and that was her paint job. Most of my nendoroids have impectable attention to thin lines and seams, but it seems that Halloween Miku was a bit rushed in that department, especially around the pearls on her dress.
Overall from the full presentation of this nendoroid down to the little details, she is one exciting mantel piece. If only they paid a bit more attention to her paint job, then we would have one truly stunning nendoroid on our hands.
So I hope you all enjoy my video review of Hatsune Miku Halloween Version and have a happy Halloween!
