PLANET ARLIA VEGETA

"First appearance Vegeta" or better known as "Planet Arlia Vegeta" makes its appearance in Pop! format and it does not disappoints.
This figure is a repaint of the standard Saiyan armor Vegeta, however it has a great sense of style and feels different despite being a different paint scheme.
The very first thing you will notice about this Vegeta that pops out right away is the hair. Gorgeously molded hair with different shades of Red (minimal). The Red brings out the details more so than the regular Black hair.

Funko excelled on the details with the hair molding in comparison to earlier Pop! entries. A big part of Vegeta as a character is the hair. People automatically knows who he is by just referencing it.

The Scouter is also detailed. It is the same scouter as the regular version Vegeta.

We are really digging the armor color. The Orange goes great with the Blue and the Green, great complement colors.
http://s7.postimg.org/ncvwma8p7/IMG_20141110_131010.jpg At times, I wish this would have been Vegeta's colors in the anime. While his White and Blue armor/outfit separates him from Raditz and Nappa, even more would have been the contrast if used the Arlia colors.

Yup, the tail is still there but the butt?, lol

Yup, he is awesome!

Unfortunately he was only available at NYCC but Toy Tokyo might bring very limited quantities- VERY LIMITED- to their exclusive website.

All in all, this is a great Pop! figure. A must have for anyone who loves Dragon Ball Z and Saiyans. the colors makes this figure different enough to be worthy of shelf space.

Nope. I'm not big on POP in general. Something about this guy just fits, though.

Cool that they made a fig of that vegeta and I would definitely would get one if they made a scale figure but unfortunately i don't collect nendos, or chibis or mini sized figures idk wat to call em. Still, I think anyone who loves DBZ and these types of figures should defintely get one. Nice write-up :)

MoroIl y a 5 ans#2451637$100? Yikes! Still, I've seen some POP!s skyrocket in price and then gradually slide back down to reasonable levels, so I guess it's a bit of a toss-up?
It all depends on the Pop! really and the means of obtaining it when it first came out.
Before the Pop! fame skyrocketed, Funko made them in way smaller quantities, that's why very old pieces of non popular characters are much more harder to come by and pricey than older Batman's. The old convention ones are like super hard to get and expensive. There is a Black metallic Batgirl from SDCC that sells for $400+

LexiyIl y a 5 ans#2451635For $15 dollars, not bad. But this Prince goes for over $100 on eBay.
Got to wait see how many units and when Toy Tokyo puts it up for ordering on their website. I predict less than 100 units will be produced as it is still an exclusive in essence. But it will still be sold at $15.
I got a feeling this piece will be one of those Pop! grail that supply & demand drives to $200 by next year. Of course, it will also depends how Funko starts handling the exclusives. I have seen SDCC, Hot Topic, NYCC, Fugitive and more exclusives hit the popcultcha website giving collectors and non event attendees a chance to get at non flipper prices.
