I was just browsing ebay and came across a really cute mini laptop that is suitable for Dollfies. I don't actually own a Dollfie but am planning to get Danny Choo's Smart Doll, ITEM #227524, in the foreseeable future and for something so inexpensive I was kind of tempted: pages.ebay.com/...
However, I've never bought anything Dollfie related before and wasn't sure about the possibilty of bootlegs etc. and I noticed this product comes from China. I can't help but be skeptical when items like this originate from there since it seems to be a bootleg haven. So my question is this: if I buy this product, is it likely to be of good quality, like in the pictures, or will it be like a bootleg figure quality-wise in that it is not entirely what it seems?

Thanks so much for any help! I just don't want to spend money on something that I'll have to throw away, no matter how inexpensive it is...

EDIT: My question also applies to any kind of Dollfie accessories in general and not solely this item as I noticed this seller has a few other goods I'd be interested in.

If you were buying resin Asian ball-jointed dolls, then I would warn you of bootlegs or what many in the hobby call them, "recasts."

But for accessories, you should be fine (like the others have said). Like Mine-kun suggested, I would also check doll companies for props. THOUGH, if it's from a Chinese doll company, you could probably find the same item on Taobao for a cheaper price (not including agent fees and shipping fees though).

As the others said, don't expect of a high quality props since they're just small accessories for dollfies. Why not try some dolls shop that sells accessories like dollmore, luts, crobidolls and more. I don't know if they sell laptops but if you're looking for accessories like guitar crobidolls definitely has one though they can be quite pricey.

For the most part, you won't have any trouble with accessories. Generally you get what you pay for, and it will look pretty similar to the sales photo. So a $10 pair of doll shoes from eBay won't necessarily look as good as a $50+ pair from a 'designer' shop like Freedom Teller, but it will still be a decent product.

It's quite rare to hear stories of people buying accessories that turned out to be really bad quality. It's not completely unheard of for a seller to take photos from other people's listings and sell similar goods, but it's not something you hear about often. Far more common are bootleg copies of the dolls themselves.

Unlike the figures here which are mainly Japanese, many resin dolls are sculpted by Chinese artists, and there are lots of collectors over there. So it makes sense that there would be a lot of Chinese sellers offering clothing and accessories for them. The majority are operating in good faith and sell quality goods, and the lower prices compared to shops in other countries mean they can get good business setting up on eBay as well as Chinese sites like Taobao.

I've seen this in various Taobao shops. It's just a no-frill accessory.
Just expect the usual mass-made product, not an artisan craft :p

It's fine, it's just what it is, a little accessory, they are mostly all from china.
