Hello everyone!

(Warning: Picture heavy post)

I welcome you all to my 4 seasons detolf case, in which each display case is represented both by my personal reality and fantasy. Through those realities and fantasies are the art of my past, as well as the dreams of my imagination. The 4 seasons of the Earth was the perfect idea to manifest the creation of the mind, as well as visualize Earths majestic beauty.

Due to the previous voting pole, I will be showcasing SPRING without the wonfes figure that I wanted. In completion of my Spring case, it turns out that I like the final piece without the wonfes figure. Adding the wonfes figure might even be a bit..."disastrous" due to it's size. If many of you were wondering what wonfes figure I wanted for my Spring case, it was:

ITEM #330951

Just like before, if you would like to go directly to the pictures, you are free to scroll down to see the following images. If you are the ever so kind people to actually take the time to read descriptions, I would like to discuss what ideas I had in mind that influenced the design of my Spring case.

I already had a good idea of what I wanted my Spring case to look like. The Cherry Blossoms (i.e., Sakura) of Japan were just an automatic choice to represent my Spring case. I just love the scenery of Japan and it's Cherry Blossoms during the blooming season. It is my plan to visit Japan during that time of year so I can personally feel the experience myself. The Cherry Blossoms of Japan can also be felt through various anime show, such as Your Lie in April.

The Sakuya Seraphim 1/6 figure was originally part of the Spring case, but unfortunately when I received my other Spring figures, the Sakuya figure just stood out too much. I decided to save Sakuya for something else and let the other Spring figures shine through.

While the Cherry Blossoms of Japan was a good core representation of Spring, I had to consider..."Just what colored figures should I put within my Spring case?" Personally, I didn't want just Pink figures; that would be a bit too much for my taste. Thinking of just what other colors Spring provides, I thought that Easter colors would work just fine with my shelf.

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of figures that can represent Spring, but I wanted to narrow it down to my favorite animes, as well as 2 really detailed oriented figures that I have obtained coincidentally throughout my figure hobby career (lol.) With that in mind, the following 5 have been chosen!

Sakura Kinomoto - Cardcaptors
Li Syaoran - Cardcaptors
Shiro - No Game, No Life
Momohime - Oboro Muramasa
Sayame - Qupita Qupitos ~ Gikyoku Torikago no Shoujo

Cardcaptors was one of my favorite animes as a child. I knew that Sakura and Li were going to be part of my Spring shelf no matter what. Luckily, the Kotobukiya versions of them had the colors Pink and Green to represent Spring. I chose Kotobukiya's Shiro from No Game, No Life because of the faded hair colors, her purple outfit, and well, the type of character that she is. I was contemplating back and forth whether she should be part of Spring or Winter (due to her outfit), but since I already have my winter display idea down, Shiro was going to be part of Spring.

*cough* I still want Jibril *cough*

While 4 months into figure collecting, I was lucky enough to buy Momohime from a fellow mfc user. While at the same time at the beginning of this year, I was also able to buy Sayame from a fellow mfc user. Special shot outs to BlueSeoul for selling Momohime and Drakanity for selling Sayame. This Spring display case wouldn't have been possible without you two, so I sincerely thank you :).

A little note: There are some extra accessories that I did not include. The following things that are missing are Sakuras extra wings, Li's sword, and Shiros tiny Chess piece. The Wings and the Sword were out of the way, while at the same time I did not want to lose a VERY tiny Chess piece.

Without further ado, please enjoy my Spring case.

Final Spring Showcase:

I hope you enjoyed my Spring case :). My very last seasoned case, Winter, will not be complete until next year. Please stay tuned, as the Winter seasoned case will be a VERY special and meaningful piece.

I also would like to say that after I am done with my Winter case, I will no longer be collecting scaled figures, with the exception of a few. It's been a great journey, and I am glad that I am able to collect and bring meaning to these figures. I will still be collecting nendoroids, so I'll still be around :).

One more to go...

It's so lovely! I agree, if you add that last figure, it might become too crowded :)

What a lovely and beautiful way to display your figures! Your spring shelf turned out wonderfully, but I think your autumn one is my favourite of the three (probably because of the colours; the figures match wonderfully). Summer looks really nice as well!

I'm curious to see what you'll do with winter. :)

Thanks for the comments everyone! Autumn was extremely hard to top off since it had both simplicity and complexity mixed together. Spring is more based on more personal figures, but none the less I had fun with it :).
