Coolest collection you've ever seen?Coolest collection you've ever seen?

maraiatorimaraiatoriIl y a 4 moisAsk MFC
Hello MFC! It's been a hot minute since I posted an article.

I always like to go to the "Collection" part of pictures and admire other people's collections and spaces. Whether it be room aesthetics, certain figure themes, or simply respecting the time and effort of building a collection, there's just something about this tag that I absolutely love looking at. A lot of these pictures have also given me inspiration with my own collection (even though I don't have nearly as many figures).

So my question to you is: what is the coolest collection you've ever stumbled upon and fell in love with? One of my personal favorites is this collection from rubyserpent_720

That's all I have really. Until next time ^_^

My favorite is ChocolateSpider. The variety and subject matter of his collection is really great (and similar to what I like as well), and I love the way he displays it all. He's got a home tour buried in his articles, though it's fairly old now so I hope he does an updated one sometime. Even his loot posts are well organized. Definitely collection goals.

I'm also interested to see other users' impressive collections, so I can't wait for more comments on this lol.

EDIT: Why did someone thumbs down this? Did I say something wrong? I'd appreciate it if someone would tell me if I said something offensive.

omg, this is like my fave collecting topic ever! <3

my #1 display goals inspiration had got to be PICTURE #2018325 SAIYUUKI ! her displays are so jam-packed with cuteness, it's like a collage of 3D girls!

PICTURE #2031771 NENECHI is my other big inspiration! everything is packed in beautifully and it's always so bright and cohesively cute <3 a little more 'refined' i guess, than the first

PICTURE #1958888 DOKIDOKI if nenechi is refined cute, then maybe dokidoki is kinda... grungy cute? lol. idk, but I love how every surface of her room seems plastered in stickers and prints

PICTURE #2083805 TOGEKISS she has the softest figure displays and really peppy taste <3

BABYFAWN is also an all time top 5 fave~ i especially admire how she displays straps and stuff~

aaaand, here's all my other honorable mentions~

BVibes (Il y a 4 mois) #46342682I have a few I like for different reasons.
MissBun PICTURE #2015271
Hugtower PICTURE #1397828
Both of their collections helped me with my own setups. They're both really nice, have coherent themes and don't look cluttered. Hugtower was even nice enough to answer my questions about detolfs+kallax shelves. I also have the same desk as MissBun and seeing her photo helped me in my decision to get it.

Seriously, it looks like a room from a home decor magazine. And I mean that in the nicest way possible; it just looks incredible and professional to me. I like how her collection doesn't take over the entire room, it works really well with this set up.

Her photos always give off such a comforting impression. I love how she incorporates lights into her collection, it highlights areas of interest instead of washing them out in single color tones.

As far as collections that make the room, his has always been my favorite. I also like the use of one tone of lights here; in this case it unifies the collection. The ceiling art gives a nice personal touch that makes this collection unique to me.

Wow thank you for sharing! Honestly these are room goals LOL
I believe that last one actually won first place in Tokyo Otaku Mode's otaku room contest, and for good reason.

I am just now hearing about this guy.. definitely collection goals lol!

Wow I actually love the lighting and display in this pic. Thanks for sharing!

ChaosDivine (Il y a 4 mois) #46311404QUICKY 's displays and setups are always consistently elegant and amazing to look at, for example: PICTURE #1812788 PICTURE #1818632
YARROWIA still has the best Ghibli dioramas I've seen to date: PICTURE #1953619 PICTURE #1953618

Ahhh I remember stumbling upon that Studio Ghibli collection and absolutely love the way they captured the "Ghibli aesthetic". Makes me want to start collecting Ghibli merch :')

I really like Tremendo's Jojo collection. He is the user who got me into figure collecting. The way he organized and posed his figures truly brought out the best in them and inspired me to build a collection.

One image posted here that really sticks out in my mind is static.myfigure...

Especially the bottom row, the figures are so pretty and organized so well. Seeing that, it strikes me as the kind of aesthetic I'd like for my collection, too.

I don't think you said anything wrong. A lot of people just use downvotes as an "I don't agree but don't care enough to reply", don't worry about them too much.

Having had the chance to meet REJEAN235 in R/L I have had the opportunity to see his collection. He has to be one of the most dedicated collectors I l know. The book in front of his PC is a research compilation of most of the figurine characters in his collection.

=)
