...I had grown so used to this system, that I hadn't even thought about it until now. Ouch.

I've never seen a worse system, to be honest.
Every other search engine, you can type part of a name, hit "Enter," and it'll show all entries containing that name.

If that figure isn't tagged properly, god bless, you're never finding that figure even if you have the name, because the engine searches by tags and not names.

    Also, 90 result limit *claps*

It used to be a lot easier IMO before the 10th anniversary rehaul. Aesthetics aside everything was much more streamlined but alas.

I find it odd that when you type in the English title of something you have to wait for the option in Japanese to populate and then click on that since if you just press enter you're SOL.

This whole sites UI is fucked up, and Kuma and Co aren't going to do shit about it.
I doubt MFC makes a ton of cash through add revenue so what do you really expect? Google makes more cash than most countries entire economies and there SE still sucks.

Iskana (Il y a 3 mois) #57460815Personally when trying to find certain figures, I just go to my search engine look up the character, company and scale if I have, and whatever else information would be relevant, and add "myfigurecollection" to the end of it, and hope for the best.
The MFC search engine is... bad, to say it politely. Confusing, complicated and just annoying.

I do that from time to time myself, but only when I'm already on google and too lazy to open a new tab and walk myself through to the advanced search...

I mean, once you're on the advanced search's site it's pretty okay for it not being Google and its smarts. (as in, every term is virtually in brackets, so "plushie" won't find "plush")
