victorviper (Il y a 1 mois) #57666685Another figure from a game that I have amazingly never played :).
The details are quite neat on this figure. For such a small-scale figure, the blood spatter is pretty well painted!
The figure fits pretty well in your display with Calne Ca and Edward Scissorhands :).

Silent Hill 2 is so good though! If you ever want to start with this franchise, I'll recommend starting with 1. The Playstation Store sells it for like $5 and sometimes it's even on sale. You'll get a copy of the game that you can play on both console and handheld. I'm not sure if it's PSVita supported, but the PSP is and I really recommend to play this game on a smaller screen because of the...uh...aged graphics. The text can literally be hard to read when you play it on a bigger screen. :')

I was personally amazed at all those veins and the high detail on the heads. I know Figma's are in general value for your money, but this was even beyond what I expected!

Hehe, she fits there well, but it's a bit too crowded on that shelf! I want to make seperate horror related shelves and have so much horror related stuff that there are going to be at least 2, maybe 3. I'll have to see what the best fit for her will be. I guess it depends also on if I will pick up other Silent Hill figures soon. :)

Moro (Il y a 1 mois) #57662630I had that problem at first and suspected the joints were tight/stiff so I gave my nurses a hot bath and the back joint loosened up after that.
Right now mine are in the box because I want to make an abandoned house diorama so they at least have a reasonable environment to live in.
I definitely don't think a James will be made which is a shame. Though, his design is so simple I've thought about making one.

Oh nice! So it can be fixed. Would be a bit scared with the hot bath because of the rubber-like bottom parts of the dress, but warm should be OK. ;) Next time I pick her up for cleaning I will try! I really want to pose her back more arched, she looks too...natural right now. ;)

That diorama sounds super great! Maybe you could even use some textures from the game for the looks of the walls etc.? :)

If we are ever going to get another Silent Hill Figma, I'm guessing it would be a Heather as she seems to be the fan-favorite of all human characters. And yeah! I can't think of good bases right away, but I guess there should be male Figma with similar coats out there.

Maakie (Il y a 1 mois) #57662480Two nurses and one pyramid, nice combination! :) How do you have yours posed? And do your nurses also have the issue with the back not really bending?
I doubt they'll make an James as the enemies from this franchise are so much more popular than the human characters. :( But it would be really nice!

Moro (Il y a 1 mois) #57660840Nice review! I have two of these and also Pyramid Head and imo they're some of the best figmas. Great prices for high quality figures with great accessories.
I wish they'd make a James, it feels weird to have SH2 enemies but no one for them to terrorize.

hugtower (Il y a 1 mois) #57661318While it’s a bit too obvious I actually like that the toes bend. When you’re walking in that fashion it tends to be on your tip toes.
Voir le spoilerCacher le spoilerI used to be physically handicapped before a surgery and during that time I walked quite like them with the knees together; I still have a habit of walking on my toes from it

Ah~ I haven't thought of it like that. I had the mindset that these are shoes with a hard sole, which means these shoes can't bend like how it does with the figure. So while the joint is a good idea for some Figma, it is a bit strange of a choice here? But maybe I'm overthinking it now. It looks really good on ITEM #464595 for example, who tiptoes a lot and is on bare feet. :) The joint is also a lot less obvious there.
