Figma Astolfo Review:
Yes, this is a video review
But before you immediately leave, let me just explain that this is not the "sweaty guy wasting your time by fumbling with a figurine while awkwardly breathing" kind of video review. I actually spent about a week editing this to make it one, brief (which it happens to be the shortest review of this figure on Youtube right now) and two, hopefully entertaining to watch. I put a lot of jokes to make it not a slog to watch. Of course humour is subjective, basically if you don't like the humour you probably won't like the review.
If you don't want to watch the video I spent a week editing... you hurt my feelings but okay, here's my summarised opinion of the figure:
Has a good amount of accessories, good articulation, looks good, and mine didn't have any overly problematic QC problems.
Overall: It good.
-My figure has an issue where the boots aren't symmetrical in their placement but it's easily fixed by removing and adjusting them
-The fur on the cloak isn't the most durable, be careful when handling
-The cloak is a bit difficult to get into the peg, but you can ease it up beforehand by twisting in the stand
-My biggest issue: there is a missing elevated detail at the crotch area that I find unacceptable
Thanks for checking this out. If you watched the video I hope you enjoyed it, and if you have any suggestions or critiques of the video feel free to let me know. I definitely have a lot of room for improvement.
