Here's some information on pre-order cancellation from AmiAmi. Just wanted to bring some relief to individuals who were worried about AmiAmi banning their account. Hope everyone is being safe and gets through this crisis okay. Have a nice day/night everyone!

darkroseblastIl y a 5 mois#77721022It's not an error. AmiAmi has extended payment deadlines to customers in countries where Japan Post has basically stopped serving. My April payment request I got a day ago has a deadline for the end of June. But they did say they would hold packages for customers too. I hope if the mail disruptions extend past June, they'll extend my payment deadline too.

I just don't have space nor am I willing to spend that much on single figures anymore. Also, I wonder if this is an error that my payment deadline for my new orders are like a month away? The deadline for AmiAmi preorder payments is usually a week. Could this be due to the virus? If you guys have any preorder payment requests come in recently, I'd love your input.It's not an error. Yes, I cancelled 8 figures (5 scales, 3 prize) going into 2021 with AmiAmi a few weeks ago. I explained my situation and within 24 hours they allowed cancellation of all, emailed me notifications re cancellations within 15 hours & I was able to retain my account. I got zero recrimination(s) about the cancellations. I was even allowed to continue to buy preowned items only this time I paid & shipped per visit rather than go the monthly accum routine as in the past.

I did cancellations at HobbySearch also but, unlike AmiAmi, HS allowed the cancellations within 30 hours of request but did not inform me of such. It wasn't until 3 days later out of morbid curiosity I went to their site to see if I even still had an account. I still do and all my scale POs in my account have red "Cancelled" posted. I still have an account with them. It did not get cancelled.

I’m pretty sure as long as you state the reason being the coronavirus when prompted you’ll be fine.

OK, thanks :). It just made me panic a bit due to the fact they didn't tell me the same thing, and I had wondered if they were just making a special exception for you or something, and I was going to get in a lot of trouble with them for cancellations. The first time it didn't actually ask for a reason on mobile (which is a problem, I AM worried about that one), but I was able to explain it on the second. I'm hoping the original email plus the note on the second one make the message clear. The last thing I want is for AmiAmi to get ticked at me and ban me. That'd make all of this worse. :(

Edit: I just got my reply. They cancelled my items, but said nothing about it doesn't count because it is COVID-19 related (which it is). Which is sad. :(. I guess it must be on a person by person basis.

well this is good at least. i might have to cancel my nekopara nendos because i obviously didnt get the job i hoped lol and im not getting one after "graduation" either
