Hey guys so I'm looking for some new alternatives to display my collection. I've recently started getting into the resin figure game though I did have polystones long before but anyway they are quite large and very heavy and I'm looking for some place to display them.

Here is what I currently have, while I have lots of space in my room I have no other places to actually put new items up and I'm in the market for some new displays.

https://static.myfigurecollection.net/upload/pictures/2020/03/24/2411902.jpeghttps://static.myfigurecollection.net/upload/pictures/2020/03/24/2411901.jpeghttps://static.myfigurecollection.net/upload/pictures/2020/03/24/2411900.jpeghttps://static.myfigurecollection.net/upload/pictures/2020/03/24/2411899.jpeg

As you can see it's basically full up about 90% with the exception being on top of the bookshelf and a couple empty spaces on the shelves for incoming preorders. I have at least 6 resin statues coming in throughout the rest of the year and as of right now there's no place to put them.

So my question is for those who collect a large amount of resin and polystone statues, how/where do you display them? I wanted to do all wall shelves and that would work for my scales but the polystone I'm afraid of the weight as two of my heavier ones are about 60lbs each on a shelf and the others are like 25lbs average. All of them are about 20-22 inches in height and Deathwing is about 36 inches wide. Aside from that the only other things I can think of that can hold them really is on top of tables/desks/drawers or another Billy bookcase.

Anyone know of some other nice options for large item displays?

piratestyleIl y a 5 mois#76864009Thanks. Yea those custom cases are something I'll have to look into in the future but for the time being it's a little too expensive while I'm expanding my collection with resins.
No problem. I understood. I wish you have a best luck for plan to change for your figures. c:

When I first saw your dragon, I thought that was the same dragon made by the 3d pen.

Ah I can see why, it is the same. That guy made a smaller replica of the statue I have. Very talented.

VoidxfoxIl y a 5 mois#76863924I follow a youtuber called Bam Collectibles and he seems to really only collect larger resin or poly stone figures. He had a whole mini series on a creating shelves that he uses. I would suggest watching them. Otherwise putting them on the lower shelves where the weight can be more center would be the best and have the 1/8 etc on the shelves above them.

Thanks I will take a look.

If you can drill into the walls and hang shelves it might be a good replacement, for some of the bookshelves. You can then choose any height and configuration, and will probably result in more usable space since shelves take less space than furniture.

A lot of peoples are using Ikea PAX, but you will need to make some custom doors and might need also to reinforce the shelves.

Another solution that a lot of statues collectors seems to use is Moducases (moducase.xyz/) they are great, can support very heavy statues, and you can have them customized (i.e. custom dimensions), the negative is that they are very expensive and you usually needs to wait between 2 to 6 month after you order them. (And with the current situation it might be even longer)

I have some on order since black Friday last year, don't know when I will receive them...
