I hope Japanpost resumes accepting new packages for the US by the end of this year. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they resume it sometime next year.

There's huge a huge backlog of orders in processing to the US already which is probably why they still won't accept new packages despite it almost being two months now. They estimated it would take around 4 months for packages that were shipped/processed before April 24 to arrive.

Ewie that's a hefty backlog. I just had to process a payment for an Amiami order, I guess I shouldn't expect to see it until Christmas if I'm lucky lol.

I know it's the individual governments that make the call, but for mail there is no reason they can't still load up planes with packages instead of people and still keep things moving.

I had cherry blossom and bonsai seeds stuck at a Chinese airport for about 3 months as well that also shipped out, so a few countries are starting to get mail moving again.

Looks like Americans will have to keep using DHL thanks to idiots who think coronavirus is a matter of opinion because they can't ever admit to being wrong.

Purged the recent convo, stay on topic and matter-of-fact.

HokutoIl y a 1 mois#79324697strange no Italy (my country), Germany and France, at least here the situation is under control, , yes we have cases but they are all defined and delimited, there is social distance but it's basically over

I guess germany was not listed because EMS and Airmail where never suspended for us, we're all waiting for SAL to resume now.

SeikiIl y a 1 mois#79324692Would you want to interact with the US when they have 1/4 of the world's total cases (~1/3 active cases) and are largely ignoring social distancing and safety guidelines?
