Hellooo MFC! It's been quite a bit since my last update, so it's high time I write a new one. I separated this into two sections so it's a bit easier to read haha
I've haven't gotten too much, I'm trying to build up my savings account and pay for other things, but I still wanted to write a little something.
My First Gundam Builds!
I got ITEM #805955 to give Gundam building a try! I don't know anything about the characters or series, I just picked Sandrock here because I like the design. Maybe a controversial opinion, but I'm not the biggest fan of the red/blue/yellow most Gundams have lol
I found building Sandrock pretty simple and fun. It was a similar process to building a Lego set, just with more steps. One thing I didn't do that well was cutting out the pieces, I'll need to get more practice.
Not long after I finished building Sandrock, I found…whatever this is on sale for super cheap at a local store. ITEM #949561 ITEM #949562 I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from it, as the package wasn't like any Gundams I've ever seen, but I gave it a chance anyways.

Inside was a poseable frame, and separate armor pieces you can snap onto it. I think the intention is, if you buy more in this series, you can mix and match the armor to make a unique bot.
I was surprised at how good the quality was. It's not as detailed or poseable as Sandrock, but is a lot more solid.
I then tried my hand at panel lining these two, as you can see above. At first I used a Gundam marker, but it wasn't working very well for me so I decided to use enamel paint and thinner instead.
I thinned the paint a lot, then pressed my brush against each line, and the paint traveled down and filled it in. Very satisfying to watch! Once that was done, I used more thinner to clean it up.
Neither of them are complete, (I ran out of steam) so I will touch them up in the future. I'm looking forward to building more Gundams!
Everything Else!
ITEM #563540 ITEM #628285 <3 I picked these volumes specifically because they're from my favorite arc! I'm not the biggest fan of the printing job on these though... The art relies a lot on contrast for its impact, and I don't feel the inks are dark enough. Still happy to have these on my shelf though ^^
ITEM #217362 I've always loved Kagerou Project, it almost feels surreal to finally own some merch. Kido here is supposed to be a keychain, but I detached her and put her on a little stand for fun. I also got a Kano keychain from the same set for one of my old friends.
ITEM #1643470 I thought all the figures in this set were very pretty, so I bought one knowing I'd be happy with any option. I was very happy to find I got Kirlia, a Pokemon I've always loved.
ITEM #1944412 I couldn't resist this Cinnamaroll blind box when I found it at the mall, all the outcomes were very cute and I'm very happy with the one I got! Weird though his ears don't stick up as much as the promo pics...
ITEM #401020 Last but very not least is this lovely Luka figure. I bought her way back in Spring this year, but waited to unbox her once I hit a mental health goal to sort of give her to myself as a reward for accomplishing it lol. It took a long time but now she's finally on my shelf! She's very simple but I like that about her. Makes me nostalgic for old Vocaloid content. She and my Project Diva Miku look really great together.
Thank you so much for reading! Are you looking forward to any new releases? Any hopes for the holiday season...? I'm putting these on my wishlist and crossing my fingers
ITEM #1930662 ITEM #1131738 ITEM #1900984
