Commentaires Kasane Teto - 1/7 - Yoshiwara Lament Ver. (Good Smile Company)

  • Such an impressive figure.

I'm a little surprised that GSC went so all-out on the first non-GK scale figure of Teto. Maybe if there is enough interest in this figure, we will eventually get some figures of Teto in her "everyday" clothes.

    Nice review as always.

Holy frick, she's drop dead gorgeous (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) I think my heart got stolen...

It's awesome how she went from a short-lived meme:

...To a stunning and attention-stealing maiden. Teto gives off a really mature and elegant feel, especially the way she is holding the kiseru. You are definitely right, she has no bad angles and the way she looks at you, you can't help it but lock eyes with her and be charmed by her beauty (〃'▽'〃)

I didn't think a dominant neon-ish green kimono would look good buuut the pattern on her kimono combined with the colorful ribbons, the awesomely multilayered bouquet of rainbow and frills, her hair accessories, and her facial expression is just... Marvellous. I'm totally at an awe.

Thanks for the review! Really awesome that you threw up a lot of kimono wear terminology and styles I never heard of but I've been curious about (^v^)

Darn it. After seeing every one's photos, I kind of want this figure. Is she possibly pricey in the aftermarket?

Being a Loid Nerd, I am a sucker for non-Crypton characters receiving figures. *cries at Aoki Lapis figure* (ITEM #94927) An Utau getting a scale is amazing! Because obviously not everyone has the license for their Utaus compared to big companies that own Vocaloids. Keep in mind Utau is an shareware program. I would kill for an Namine Ritsu figure. Chances may be low or high because he is pretty popular. Yes, I intentionally said he!

Truth be told, I kinda like Teto, and this figure is just as beautiful as the character.
The paintwork on the kimono's patterns and the golden adornments is simply amazing, and Teto's expression is perfect.
    Verily, it is a masterpiece.
    Thank you! ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡

As I said I don't know her, but in front of such beauty I don't think it's necessary either, since I appreaciate her anyway (I'm more of the visual type after all).

She is truly a work of art and apart from the extravagant garment I'm particularly fond of the expression as well (seeing how it really captures the song).

galablueIl y a 8 mois#74420521To be honest, I think she is gorgeous ... that kimono is probably one of the best I've ever seen. But it also appears that most of the detail goes into the kimono. A little disappointed in some of the sloppier areas, especially around her hair and the base (will one peg be enough? Is she heavy?). I mean -- who can blame them, the kimono is literally GORGEOUS, especially with all of the movement. She sure is and definitely makes me want to find her a prime spot in my collection. :3
Seeing how they went all out for the kimono I can kind of overlook stuff like the hair on her schoulder looking a tiny bit iffy as it's not the main focus (the flower kanzashi on the other hand...).
The peg is rather long and quite sturdy, so it should suffice. Ofc she isn't a lightweight but even with her arched back the weight is well distributed so leaning shouldn't be an issue. I'm a bit worried about the floating ribbons drooping over time though.

FallencyIl y a 8 mois#74419681Lovely figure, and once again your comprehensive review is top-notch, thank you !
I really love the face sculpt and the hair color, but one drawback for me and it's only my opinion, I'd rather prefered a brighter colors, more vibrant colors for her dress than this one.
But ultimately, she is beautiful and a must have overall !
    Thank you so much! :3
I love her as is but as long as the colors didn't turn into neon I'd probably have been down for that as well. What I'm not really fond of are the more transparent layers near the hem... The color palette feels a bit too wide with the red and orange hues imo.

Glad you also like but just how annoying is putting the riboons together?
