This was more informative than I hoped, thank you! I feel like I learned a thing or two. Would you consider making video tutorials as well? For people like me who aren't familiar with the fine details of these processes, it would be helpful to see the motions while reading on the side. ^^

Hi!!! I'm very flattered to hear that this was helpful and you learned a thing or two! I am a full time student though, so I doubt that video tutorials would be something I can take time to do consistently, but I have and will consider something of the sort when I do have more time :D For now though, I'd suggest taking a look at "Leona's Workshop" and "plumworkshop" on youtube, twitch, and their websites! A large deal of the information and stuff I've learned to do this was from them!! Thank you again!

The base looks much better now with the dark edge gradient.
As for tips: masking tape to get the clean edges and moving around a glob of thinned paint with a brush and letting it dry is better than brushing on the paint (if you want to avoid brush marks).
