Commentaires AmiAmi shipping preference?

  • I've never had a problem with registered SAL, everything has always got here rather speedily and in one piece. However, if it's an extra pricey figure I'll go with EMS out of sheer paranoia.

    Here in Argentina the post service doesn't have the most delicate staff, but I order 90% of the time via unreg SAL and I only received a somewhat damaged box a few times, and only did the actual figure box have some damage. Never had a figure arrive broken because of shipping :D

    From what I've read elsewhere if the post in your country is generally safe SAL is generally safe. AmiAmi normally pack well enough so your only pain should be the increased delivery time!

    I'll echo the others in saying registered SAL typically arrives fine (and is insured). AmiAmi pack things pretty well, so the chance of damage is usually small.

    I always used unregistered SAL. Whenever i used registered, they almost never update the tracking or make me sign, and EMS is too freaking expensive for something that arrives only a few days earlier. I've never had anything arrived damaged. I've never had so much as a dented box, and I've had stuff that only had paper wrapped around the figure box.

    I always use SAL small packet (registered) and I've never had problems, everything arrives perfect with no issues along the way ^-^

    I go for registered SAL so I at least know it leaves the country but never had any problems. Once there was like a little indent/half-tear in a box, but meh. Everything was safe.

    I've never had any issues with SAL Small Packet, everything's always arrived safely. I've never tried unregistered, but I'm too paranoid to attempt something like that.
    I believe that SAL Reg. has a 6000 JPY insurance on it, so if it arrives damaged, you can possibly get 6000 JPY of your money back. (EMS has 20000 JPY insurance, so if you're ordering really valuable things, I might go with that instead, even if it costs more.)

    EMS has always come safely as well, it just moves at a wonderous super lightning speed XD;;

    Well...It depends, really. I've seen photos of smashed up EMS boxes as well as SAL ones. It's really down to how careful the post carriers are. That said - I've never received a broken box, only once did I get a mildly dented one, and I always use Airmail or R. SAL. Most figures are boxed in a way that prevents them being easier damaged so I think it'd have to be really thrown around to break her :) If you don't mind waiting then I'd go with Airmail or R.SAL.
