Take care of your figures!Take care of your figures!

I finally attached the ribbon peg into the back of Alter’s newest Ayase Eli figure but in turn one of the pegs at the bottom snapped off of the ribbon and is stuck into the base. It seems that the peg was turned a bit from how it was supposed to go in and that’s why it’s so stuck in ( ・ᴗ・̥̥̥ ). Can anyone tell me a safe way to fix it or make it more stable?https://static.myfigurecollection.net/image/CapCha1514659579.jpeg

Anyone got tips on removing grey smudges from a charm figure? i'm not sure where it came from, but it doesn't seem to come off with water and gentle q-tip.

HibiChika (Il y a 2 ans) #3135154humid summer and theres no ac in my room. its 30°C at coolest. i keep my figurines from 2009 in their boxes on the floor laying around the wooden tiles of my bedroom. sometimes these tiles heat up. will my figurines melt, sweat and die a pointless death like a cat?
Apparently the problem may be worse if the figures are sealed and the chemical has nowhere to evaporate. In my experience I am inclined to believe this as the worst one i encountered was one that was sealed and it literally had droplets on it. This doesn't happen to all figures as the vast majority of my old figures are fine. However, opening them to breath might not actually help since you live somewhere hot and humid. Perhaps open them to let them breath when it is not humid?

Also would like to know how to remove figures from their stands with out breaking them stuck into the figure I have an issue with that, I hate it so much... Why can't they use metal pegs from now on I know they did for a Madoka figure...ugh

I think it depends on the figure. Humid and warm all year round here, left a nendoroid in its box since 2009 in a wood cabinet (parquet tiles), it's not melting/sweating. My trading figures from back then are fine too in their boxes.

i see ty, i do occassionally open their boxes on my freedays from work to let the figurines breath but when i do so, they smell like paint. isnt that a bad omen?
