Abel-NightroadIl y a 36 minutes#105970114I understand you point of view but the fact that the 2B unmasked head from the prototype differ from the released product is undeniable.
It's not a matter of bad or good photos here. :(
Prime1Studio sold this diorama with those prototype's pics.
What I mean is that I bought this based on the prototype photos: would've I do the same if the sculpt used in the release was shown at that moment? I don't know, maybe yes maybe no.
I don't condone such behaviour from any company because at the end of the day these things cost a lot of money.
That is the main reason I'm disappointed and upset right now even if I don't dislike so much the new sculpt.
It's only a matter of transparency from the company. ^^

to be fair, there's always a notice that the final product may differ from the prototype sample.
ofc, if the difference is too much/bad we have every right to complain, even now we do.

but I also gotta agree with OP that angle and light can make A HUGE difference. I have seen a few videos and lots of pics now and I am very happy with the end result. there were a few pics with bad angles which made me suspicious but the more I saw and better pics released, my mind was pleased.

zeheeroIl y a 12 heures#105961954You guys are all over reacting to the statue not being exactly a like the prototype and you guys don't even have it in hand yet and making judgements already.
From being a experience statue collector like myself, not the PVC figures, I collect XM Studio, Prime 1 Studio and Sideshow, I can tell the angles and lighting of the camera makes a big difference when you trying to compare to the prototype.
Just please take a chill pill and wait till you actually see the product in hand, most of the time it just the awkward angles of camera and lighting that makes the statue look bad. Case and point, look at the Apocalypses statue from XM Studio, people betch about the color and how it didn't look like the prototype but in fact it was the the angle of the camera and the lighting.
Prime 1 Studio usually gets their final product to be very close to the prototype. In addition, they have to do this because they have a license agreement with Square Enix. If you follow Prime 1 Studio work, you know that most of their products get super delay and never release on time but I think this time around they just put everything resource they had in making this statue, you talking about 3 statues in one here. In addition, we do not even know how many was made.

In my opinion, the photos taken are quite clear, both from the angle of capture and the light. but we'll just have to wait for the other photos then.

akariseIl y a 23 heures#105938929The unmasked 2B might look a bit off from the prototype but it still looks pretty good to me since I still see 2B very clearly. It appears very close to the in-game model, which is what's important to me.

Seen on the pics posted by topher21 yes, but the first ones from the unboxing on bilibili were awful. :(
