Who needs a spine anyway?

materix01Il y a 4 ans#4246377Thank you for the reply. I guess I worded my question wrong since "how'd you find it "can also mean "what did you think of it?". Totally see how most would actually think I was asking "where to find this?" She looks pretty good except would be nice to give some shading to the hair/skin. Never worked with a resin kit before.

i guess speed reading backfired. I originally had Max Factory's in mind. I liked their sculpt before I watched the show. After the first episode, I can't stopping looking at those legs. To me, Max Factory's version has hips a bit too wide (shining wizard did that to Catherine too) which also made the portion beneath her knees look shorter proportionally. That's why I'm in love with this version instead.

Guy9394Il y a 4 ans#4245618ordered directly from volks. since she's already molded in color, I only used some black and gold paint to draw some lines. Can't wait to paint her using an airbrush when i find the time to learn using one.
If you are already used to painting gunpla, she'll look amazing with your skills. I'm still in the gundam-marker-only level.

materix01Il y a 4 ans#4223364How'd you find the garage kit? Did you have to paint it to look good? I paint almost all my gunpla.

Yeah generally you leave it in warm water for 15-20 seconds then transfer it onto the area with a Q-tip or brush. Also applying Mr. Mark Setter allows the decal to adhere and set better, then apply a clear coat of matte or semi-gloss to give the decal a final seal as well as getting rid of the decal's edges.

Thanks for the advice, looking forward to my next GK.

Guy9394Il y a 5 ans#2722547Didn't use the decals on my gundams. I saw some pictures with a bowl of water from the instruction booklet so I dumped the decals in water. After a few minutes, her thin eyebrows were floating in the bowl. took some time to catch them with a toothpick.Hahaha.
