If she has problems sitting in the stool, maybe they should've added a little cushion on the top of the stool for her to sit on. She wouldn't lean and could sit on the center of the stool.
That's a shame, because this figure looks really nice.
A cushion would have made it worse, since she's forward-top heavy, and will tip whenever she's not leaning back.
So I went head and filed down the central cylinder in her stool to shorten it. Worked great! Now she looks like she's sitting just as intended.
I shaved probably 1.5 cm off of the core.

Only about a week ago I decided to just go ahead and prop her up with the thumb inside the seat rim, and it has only taken that long for the thumb to warp to the point Mumei was leaning against her closest neighbor. And not only did the thumb give way, but the whole right arm got bend inward as her heavy top leaned forward. Very disappointing. Only thing I can think of is to try shortening the stool by filing it down so that she leans back onto it--right now it's simply too tall so she can't help but lean forward. Just as I feared:

A lot of figures come with cushions now, and I think it would look nice here if it was small enough.

Trying to figure out how much I adore this figure, exactly. Lusciously plump sculpt, lovely paint application, and nice big size. However, I'm frustrated by the stool. She is really difficult to balance, and is very prone to tipping straight forward if you try to sit her squarely on the stool with both feet on the "ground" (that is, whatever shelf or tabletop you've displayed her on). The two solutions seem to be 1.) perch her way off to one edge or the other, so that one foot is on the stool's base; or 2.) prop her up on her right thumb, by putting the thumb inside the lip of the stool's rim, in which case the feet are actually dangling above the shelf surface. #2 concerns me by putting such a large load on her tiny thumb, which I fear will bend. #1 on the other hand looks pretty good but just doesn't seem to be how she's designed to sit, considering there are two indentations apparently meant for her glutes. Anyone figure out her ideal position?
