shxtterIl y a 15 heures#80031596how did you fix the little parts that came off? with just glue? just worrying if that happens to me lol

Yes, with a tiny drop of glue. Since these parts are connected it would probably hold even without glue but this tiny parts can get lost easily.

And I used a bit of black color as well because I noticed a tiny decolored spot on the tip of the hair strand where it is connected to the flowing hair on her backside.

Good:
- The sculpt is well made and detailed. For example I like the way how the stockings
snuggle around Velvet's legs.
- Coloring and shadings are decent. Shadings are there and she doesn't look as "flat"
as Kotobukiya's version but it's not overdone either.
- Her demon hand is included in the regular edition and not some limited/exclusive
nonesense.
Neutral:
- the pose. Honestly I think the pose looks better on Kotobukiya's version. She looks
strong and sinister there. While ALTER's pose...yeah, the face I like much better
on ALTER's version but it does not really match that well with the action pose (it looks
a bit better with the demon hand). So Velvet is randomly floating around and even
needs a support rod that.
Bad:
- Color transform on her backside.
- Hairstrain on the back wasn't glued well and didn't hold.
- The hairtip with the bandage in front of ther face came of
- A part of her belt came of
All of this because it just wasn't glued well.
Thoughts and Rating:
ALTER's strong point was it's quality and that became their weak point now. At least since their Jeanne Avenger, ALTER proved that they just can't live up to the hype anymore. That may be because of strongly increasing production numbers in the last years and lesser time to closely inspect all the items. Not only ALTER, other companies like GSC struggle with that as well.
That doesn't mean we just have to deal with constantly rising prices while the QC becomes constandly worse.
"Stronger" for example was always improving their QC over the years and what I suspected in 2019 became reality in 2020: "Stronger" surpassed ALTER at least in terms of QC.
For the rating we have a max. of 10 points. But there are deduction of points
because of the color transfer (-1 point) and a hairpart you can't glue without having visible marks which you have to paint over as well (-1 point).
The other parts which came of and I had to glue myself I wouldn't consider into my rating if it would have been a GSC figure, but ALTER declared itself as "premium company" in 2019 and because of that and the price tag I'll give them a "premium rating" with another - 1 point for that.
Final rating 7/10

I shouldn‘d have bought the figure...now I feel the urge to play the game a third time...with it‘s bittersweet ending.
The graphics of Berseria are crap but the story and especially it‘s demonic lead character Velvet is quite unique.
All this noble, shining lights of JRPG heros where celebrating their virtuousness on the high FiFa temple until Velvet crashed the dining table with her demon arm and spoiled the party by her reckless cry for vengeance.
And as for me, also on the contrary of the noble Anime heros , there is nothing likeable, nothing honorable on a no-good grumbler like me. Yet I have the feeling our onee-san Velvet would still accept me in her party.

Yay!! Finally received her! It looks amazing! :) Big in Japan shipped from Japan on May 18th, and finally got to my house in Canada on June 18th...one whole month! But due to COVID, fully understandable! I’m happy at the end! Haha
