À propos de cette photo

It's been a while since I took a pic of my whole collection. Here is how it looks now in June 2020.

I slowed down the new acquisitions due to the lack of space for now and focused on improving the look of it.

Lets me give you a few close-up shots.

I hope you'll have found it interesting and inspiring!

Really like your setup and collection. I'm not a big fan of huge cluttered collections so this is really nice.

I just saw how your detolf is setup. Backgrounds like mine would block the view from behind indeed...

PVCollectorAaronIl y a 3 mois#79737713Oh I see, what did you use to hide the first shelf for the detolf? Very interested in doing this as well as I don't put much on the first shelf.I used white cardboard panels. I used a digital cutting machine at my work but you can easily DIY something like it.
---> here are the dimensions I used <---
My cardboard is 3mm thick execpt the front panel which is only 1mm. Stores selling office supplies, decoration or art stuff probably have what you would need for that.
I hope this will be helpful :)

The big glass cabinet is a typical Detolf from Ikea, but the first shelf is hidden in this picture and the others are customized with some homemade backgrounds.
The two small acrylic boxes are Synas, also by Ikea but they are now discontinued...
The medium sized acrylic display containing 3 figures is from Widdowsons Display Cases. They have a wide variety of sizes and bases styles. They can be a bit pricy depending on the size but the quality is top notch. Mine is a 30x30x30cm box with a wooden base. I found it by looking for "acrylic display" on amazon.

ddarkoIl y a 3 mois#79692427Awesome! You know, I have looked at your photo of your old setup many times and it has always been one that I kept coming back to see :)! I remember you had an Ignis with a 7th Dragon figure in that Detolf which was pretty nice too, but see they have been moved to the side :D. This is the first time I am seeing the bookshelf up close and it looks awesome, especially with the Nier painting/poster :)!Thank you! I'm glad you like it and find it inspiring :)
Ignis and the samurai student have been moved to the side but have a new sparring partner now :D
I use a small reading light (the kind you can clamp to a book) to enlighten the NieR Automata artwork. Those are perfect to create little spot of light!

GollyGeeItsBooIl y a 3 mois#79728582Very clean, I love it! May I ask where your bookcases are from? They seem to fit a lot. I always have problems finding cases that are tall enough for larger artbooks. Thanks! Those bookshelves are equivalent to the Billy from Ikea. The shelves are adjustable in height and have enough depth to fit two rows of normal size manga. In my setup, the bottom shelf is 34cm high, enough to fit all my tallest artbooks.
