No worries, I'm glad you got her! I was busy with family matters (namely my grandmother having to go to the doctor several times) so I apologize for not answering; even with that, I should've sent a quick message. Nonetheless, enjoy her! =)

Hi there! Thanks for your interest! Someone else actually contacted me first about her and was asking about a shipping quote. I'll tell you how that goes once I get a final answer from them!

G'evening, BudFox!

Sorry for the late reply! :O

I was feeling... indifferent towards MFC. Anyway, no, no weed for me, thank Haha

Instead of a half year loot blog, I've decided to make a One Year loot blog instead. I haven't done one before, and with my Holiday orders closing in, it should be the perfect opportunity.

I also bought a Minolta adapter so I can use a couple of manual lenses by Rokkor, and the Zeiss Loxia 50mm. I've been getting into manual lenses lately, and while they're not as convenient as auto focus lenses, the "prep process" of getting the perfect shot is really fun.

The Minolta MC 1.7 is actually really good, despite being an old lens! Crisp, and clear. But the lack of image stabilization takes time to get used to. I had to work on my breathing technique and be more aware of my stance.

The Loxia is... a love/relationship lol It trades in form over function, with its simple, elegant design but the focus and aperture rings are too damn close to each other!

Compared to the Minolta, it's a bit more vibrant and colorful, and there's an almost 3D effect due to the microcontrast from the subject and background. Depending on the lighting, and the way it's shot, it looks like the subject is photoshopped in the background. It's really funky.

I hope you had a good weekend :)

Yeah, I ain't touching MJ. She and I don't mix well together very well. I can't have too much or else I start feeling sick. I have a small sweet spot between "Oh, this is it?" and "I can't feel my face, and I feel like I'm falling and puking! Gwuhhh, help me". I'll uh, stick to cigarettes and vaping for now haha

Anyway, I'm just working on my half year blog. I'm been in a slump with photograhpy lately, so I haven't taken any serious pictures yet.

Revenue side... so maybe like a an accountant or an analyst perhaps? I wish you luck in finding your dream home! I want one with a huge backyard for a small greenhouse and some nature ambience. Along with that, a huge bedroom, and a large kitchen.

Wait, what does BudFox have to do with Marie Juwana? Or did you mean beer?

Colorado is kind of far, but I'll take you up on that offer one of these days. I cant promise anything though. You're very hospitable, offering me something like that.

Hmm, oil prospect huh? That does sound lucrative. I dont suppose I can contact you for a barrel of oil on a whim? Haha just kidding.

And yes! I did see your pictures on Flickr. What lens did you use for the first picture? It's the one with the rock. It's sharp in the center, but blurry around it, kind of like a fisheye effect.

My favorite one is the lady bug <3 Lady bugs are one of the few insects that I actually like, along with junebugs, dragonflies, rhino beetles, and weevils.

My problem with macro photography, is that I dont have an "eye" for a subject besides nature. Perhaps with practice, but I'm more familiar with portraits and landscapes.

Sushi in Colorado?! I applauded the people for trying, despite it being a landlocked state.

Hmmm... I think I'll call you BudFox. Calling you Foxy would probably raise eyebrows. Pickles is the same name as Tommy from Rugrats. So, BudFox. It's like Bud Light, but with more foxes.

... that was terrible, I apologize.

Ohhh, I see! May I call you BuddyFox instead? Or perhaps BuddyPickles? Haha just kidding.

Yeah, I'd like to see some of your macro pictures. Not just for reference, but to see what subjects you use for the genre.

The Rockies huh? I wish I had a mountain range close by. There's Big Bear mountain where I live that's almost an hour away, but it's more of a snow resort at certain times.

Ahhh, the beaches... one of the first things I'll miss if I ever move out of California. Along with In-n-out, Five Guys, and sushi. Or really, a lot of the foodie spots in LA. It's a very diverse place.

Valestein3Il y a 2 ans#37888402Low light, huh? Sounds like the job of fast aperture lens then!
A lot of my pictures are outdoors. Of course, they're not figure related. I like taking photographs of nature, and lately I've been getting into macro.
I love cheerful, fantasy, Christmas aesthetics! Hopefully you get the perfect shot this year!
Just wondering are you an outdoor person?
I am learning allllll about fast and slow aperture lens's and all this new terminology!

I do have some Nature photos! I definitely prefer macro work to some of the more landscape pictures I have taken. I am an artist through and through and always go for a weird artsy take on something haha. If I havent already I will share my Flickr with you, I have some of my favorite Macro pictures that turned out on my adventure into the mountains / lake where I took my first round of shots.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CHRISTMAS AESTHETICS!!! - I am Buddy the elf lol. I am so excited, I have a mini DIY Christmas doll house kit I have all sorts of plans for. And I cant wait to try my hand at some snow shots! I wish the same for you to get the perfect shots!

I would say I am an outdoorsy person, I have to be careful as I am slightly allergic to the sun ... I have gotten sun poisoning 3 times due to my red hair and paper skin hahah, lots of sun screen and sun hats for me and plenty of water. Living in CO being outdoorsy is a main staple. I have been camping a few times, I originally come from California so I am a beach girl all the way. I do love getting away into the Rocky mountains and escaping the city life as much as possible.
