    Anyone know about the site being down? I tried to get on so that I could check my order that is suppose to ship out this month, but it says the website is down?

    I contacted them about that and they replied with this: ''I am sorry for any inconvenience caused! We are currently transferring hosting company. Due to technical issues, the transfer of order details and customer information is still in progress. Our site would remain in maintenance mode for now. We are grateful that you are being patience with the long wait! Everything should be all set in the next 48 hours!''
    From what I've seen yesterday they're transferring to wordpress so the site is undergoing maintenance. Should be up soon.

    It's back up. But there are a lot of red flags there. Site is not secure. Generic password. Existing orders are not there any more.

    Had bad experiences with Anime Island and Kirin Hobby past year. I am somewhat concerned.

    I'm really worried, that this could take so long and that they might be going down?? I'd had very good experiences with them in the past and have current orders that I have been trying to check on, but this is not a good sign.

    I like how I could just know any of your email addresses, log in with it, and change your password to something of my own choosing. I would also have your shipping address, etc.

    You guys need to place your website under some actual security. This is bad for business. It's basically begging to have your customer's information leaked... =(

    You should have emailed customers with unique passwords, not had it out in the open like that. ANYONE could have their account stolen and hacked with how you're handling this.

    On the bright side, they're still responding very promptly to emails. (I just asked them about the order I'd been trying to check on)

    I'm worried as well. I PO'd a nendo that's supposed to come out in December, but there's no history of the order on my account whatsoever..

    My shipping address was wiped too. I'm not too sure that I want to update it while the site is so iffy right now, but I worry that it might affect my order.

    I got in contact with Anime NPC and they provided me with these info:

    I am sorry for the inconvenience caused!

    Since we are still transferring customer information and order details to the new system, your order details would not be shown in your account for now. The transfer is expected to be completed by next Tuesday.

    Please note that all orders would be unable to show up in customer’s account temporarily, but not worries since we have all orders recorded off the system so no existing orders would be affected or missed out.

    For customers who has an unfulfilled order that is paid in full, we will be shipping the item(s) out once they have arrived at our warehouse.

    For customers who had partially settled your order, we will be issuing an PayPal invoice to you for the remaining balance about one week before the release of the item you ordered.

    For customers who have completed orders with us, order details and associated reward points would be added back to your account ASAP.

    I did my password change, but they should at least contact everyone by e-mail about the terrible way they're moving accounts right now. Like, promptly tell us about the generic password so we can act fast. I wouldn't have known about this if I haven't checked this forum on MFC, as I've only preordered one thing from the site as my first purchase there without following their blog.

    At least, I know my preorder isn't gone along with the old site, so that's a relief. But still, the way they're moving right now is alarming.

    I have an order paid with two figures in preorder, which have already gone on sale, and they have not sent me anything yet.
    They do not answer me on facebook or by email.

    I hope they do not leave me lying like anime island did, that they stole 50 €.

    Very unhappy

    Huh that's strange. My past orders appeared like 3 weeks ago. Try to email them if you haven't already.

    I PO'd a figure awhile back and it finally showed up. Unfortunately, the box it shipped in was a small box matching the shape of the figures box with barely any room to compensate for possible shipping damage. The box was kind of bent inwards as if something was on it or it got smashed against a wall slightly. This impacted the figures box.

    Now, I'm not harping on the box itself cause it's not THAT important to me, but they could definitely package better to avoid this from happening to other buyers who do care. Bigger box and some paper to fill the space for protection.

    I finally got my 2 megami device kits in the mail today. Outer box looked beaten up, but thankfully they had bubble wrapped the two kits inside extremely well. Aside from the security issues they had at the beginning of the web switch (not to mention the lack of transfer of info for accounts in a timely manner) the other complaint I have with this whole mess is that I got my items way later than I should have.

    First: shipped EMS to a completely different location than the one I had on file and did not inform me when the items were shipped (it had been a week after and they had already got the item returned because of wrong location).

    Second: told EMS can't shipped to my location, but it can since I usually don't do anything else since my location is uncertain with mail off and on and I don't want my items lost.

    Other than that they're normally pretty quick with communication and addressing concerns. But this whole experience has left a real negative impact on me as a customer...

    Another problem: can't log into my account for some reason.

    Every time I try password reset it brings be back to the 'send email to begin password reset' page when I click the link in the email, creating an endless loop.

    And yes, I've emptied the cache, reset my computer, and all that other jazz...
