Hubby and I bought Borderlands 1 for nostalgia and because we're rebuying games for the PS3 since we switched from xbox. Also bought Aquapazza because it was half price. It's really really reminiscent of BlazBlue, but the characters are really fun and some of them are hilarious to fight with. Also the special moves are half video game, half animation and it's really cool. I love fighting games really badly and I love anime ones to boot.

    Hi there
    How's Corpse Party game. Recommended?

OT. Currently playing Destiny and Akiba's Trip 2 on PS4.

Corpse Party Blood Drive is the worst of the series in my opinion, but that does not mean it's bad. I still enjoyed playing it. If you haven't played the first Corpse Party yet, you should check it out. The first game (Blood Covered) is the best.

Btw, how is Akiba's Trip? I didn't check out the first one yet, but it looks like a fun game.

Oh, I'm sorry for the late response.
Akiba's Trip is kinda mehh, not really a game that I love. It's fun to play now and then -

Hubby picked up Saints Row 4. He played it for a while, and then had to go to bed. I picked it up around 12:30am, it's now 5am and I'm like, what? That game is addicting. Never played the others, but I don't feel lost. Hell, I wanna play the others now. I'm not big on open world games with lots and lots of things to do, but I'm somehow completely addicted to this game.

I love Saints Row 4 because it doesn't take itself seriously, it's just plain fun! But be warned, the first and second installments are nowhere near as wacky as 3 and 4, they're more like GTA. 4 does make a lot of references to the past games though, just because the series changed so much.

Hey, I'm usually at the xbox club, but I've been gaming on my ps3 a lot more recently. Figured I'd post here.
I got Deadly Premonition Director's Cut a couple months ago and I'm finishing it now. Always wanted to play it since I knew it was inspired by Twin Peaks. It scared me a little (I'm easily scared). I'm sad over the ending though, was emotional to me. I got really attached to the characters lol and the humour is great imho. I know it probably looks shitty to most people but I even loved the shitty graphics. It made me so nostalgic of old Resident Evil type of games. I'm under a mountain of feels now. Have sidequests to finish and stuff but emotionally drained.

Also started Stardust HD (is that the name? the ship shooting rocks psn game) which I got in a sale last year. Kinda fun but hard, kills my hand -_-' gets boring of replaying.

Eager to move on to a game I won't get so sad over (I hope!) like GTAV, Hitman Absolution or Uncharted 2.... not sure which one to pick
I gotta finish Okami HD too that I have started a long time ago

I'm playing Puyo Puyo Tetris, Sengoku Basara HD, and Kaizoku Musou. Mostly Puyo Puyo Tetris lately, which is absolutely adorable and a lot of fun. Shame it hasn't been localized.

Just picked up Doom and Uncharted 4 for PS4. Loving them both. I especially recommend Doom if you're fan of the classics.

It's funny, I gave up the old PS2 some time ago, yet the two games I'm playing on the 3 and 4 are both technically games from the 2... I'm finally working on finishing two of the games I never got to finish on the PS2 before we switched over, even though I did have to rebuy them and start over from the beginning, it's worth it for the sense of satisfaction and nostalgia.

I'm playing Suikoden IV on the PS3-- back on the PS2, it quickly became one of my favorites, but I locked myself out of 100% completion because I wasn't using walkthroughs or anything for getting all the stars, and never really finished it, just sort of... sailed around over-leveling different arrangements of party members a lot without reaching the end, figuring I'd get around to it, and... well, and then we got a PS3, and there was no backwards compatibility, and it was such a hassle to use the PS2 at that point, even though I technically still had it (for a while, we had the 2, 3, and 4, but we just switched between the later two because there was no room on the entertainment unit to put the 2, it was hooked up to a crappy little ancient CRT TV that was just difficult to deal with). So I recently got it through the PS3's collection of older gen games and I'm really enjoying replaying it (even if I've accidentally done a couple things out of order...)

On the PS4, I'm playing Rogue Galaxy, which had been another instant fave back on the PS2, but which I never seemed to get close enough to finishing (I mean, at the time, I had to split gaming time with my two siblings, plus if our parents wanted to watch TV, then the games had to go off, so I didn't have a whole lot of time to it even during summers/on weekends. I was... somewhere freshman-sophomore year of community college at the time? And as the oldest, that meant my academic stuff was also more time-consuming than the sibs'. So I'd pick which game I wanted to play when I had the chance, make as much progress as possible, and kind of switch off. We found Rogue Galaxy in the PS4's previous-gen download shop and now I'm replaying through the early game, which is a lot of fun, though it was so frustrating to have to go back and defeat bosses that require platforming when I'd once thought I had seen the back of them.
